If you’ve been to this site, you’ve probably noticed the #XFiles twitter feed on the right hand side of the site. Well, the other day I noticed an #XFiles tweet of some great artwork. Chances are, if you follow feeds for #SpiderMan, #XMen, #StarWars, or even #Alien or #GameOfThrones, you’ve probably seen his work. So I asked for permission to post some of his work here on my site, which he graciously allowed.

His name is David M. Buisán and you should definitely check him out on Twitter, Instagram, or his site, buisanart.com. He’s got some crazy talent!

Comics To Trade Pt. 1

Share

I found some old comics recently while moving. So I figured I’d list them here. I’m looking to trade some/all of these for some of the X-Files comics I’m missing. If you are interested in any of these, contact me and we can set up a trade. Note: These are not scans of the actual covers. They are simply downloaded from the internet to show the cover.

The next two are books. Both books are in great shape and have cover prices of $24.95. Batman Digital Justice is still wrapped.

Guess Who

Do you know who this pretty lady is:

karin

This is Karin Konoval. Ok, maybe you don’t know her by name. She plays Maurice (the orangutan from the remakes of Planet of the Apes) and she played the Wicked Witch in the mini-series Tin Man back in 2007. She was also Billy’s mom in the remake of Black Christmas in ’06.

Along with the numerous roles in TV shows… everything from 21 Jump Street (the series, from which the movies were based) to The Outer Limits, to Chris Carter’s Millennium to our beloved X-Files.

So who did she play on the X-Files? Well, first she was Madame Zelma in Season 03’s Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose.

She then returned in Season 04. That’s right folks, that lovely young lady in the photo above played Mrs. Peacock, the mom of the Peacock boys in the most infamous X-Files episode to date, Home. I guess that just goes to prove how well the make-up artists for the show was.
